November 26, 2013 - Stratasys Inc., the North American subsidiary of Stratasys Ltd., brought a patent lawsuit against Afinia, a division of Microboards Technology LLC. Stratasys alleges that Afinia infringes four of its patents related to 3D printing, and seeks injunctive relief and damages.
Stratasys Ltd. is based in Minneapolis, Minn. and Rehovot, Israel, and manufactures 3D printers and materials used in prototyping, idea development and direct digital manufacturing. The lawsuit claims that Afinia's Series H printer infringes the four Stratasys patents-at-suit.
