RE/MAX Licenses Data Distribution Technologies’ Patent

Suffern, N.Y. – July 11, 2013 − General Patent Corporation (GPC), a leading patent licensing and enforcement firm, announced today on behalf of its subsidiary, Data Distribution Technologies LLC (DDT), that a patent infringement lawsuit filed by DDT against RE/MAX LLC has been amicably resolved.

This settlement resolves Data Distribution Technologies LLC v. RE/MAX LLC (Case No. 2:12-cv-04877), filed in U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on August 3, 2012. The patent-at-suit is U.S. Patent No. 6,529,908 titled “Web-Updated Database with Record Distribution by Email.”
