General Patent Licenses ACT Patents to Bristol ID and Plastek Cards

Suffern, NY - March 25, 2008 - General Patent Corporation (GPC), a leading patent licensing and enforcement firm headquartered in Suffern, New York, announced today that it has recently licensed the patents of its client, Advanced Card Technologies LLC (ACT), to Bristol ID Technologies of Lima, NY and Plastek Cards, Inc. of Fort Wayne, IN. GPCI represented ACT in these transactions.

ACT's U.S. Patent Nos. 5,720,158 and 5,921,584 generally relate to gift, loyalty and phone cards, as well as other card products that fall within the scope of the patents.

GPC has also successfully represented ACT in four lawsuits related to these patents.
