August 21, 2013 - Lawson Software has been ordered to pay ePlus Inc. around $18 million for continuing to infringe online sales patents after a permanent injunction took effect two years ago.

Lawson is in violation of a permanent injunction granted to ePlus in 2011, which required Lawson to make significant changes to its software in order to continue selling it. U.S. District Judge Robert E. Payne determined that Lawson did not make substantial enough changes to the software.

The case is ePlus Inc. v. Lawson Software Inc.
