Weichert Takes a License under the Data Distribution Technologies Patent
Suffern, N.Y. – July 3, 2012 − General Patent Corporation (GPC), a leading patent licensing and enforcement firm, announced today on behalf of its subsidiary, Data Distribution Technologies LLC (DDT), that it settled a patent infringement lawsuit against Weichert Lead Network, Inc. (WLN). As part of the settlement, WLN took a license on the DDT patent, the terms and conditions of which are confidential.

This settlement resolves Data Distribution Technologies LLC v. Weichert Lead Network, Inc. (2:12-cv-04149), filed in U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on July 6, 2012. The patent-in-suit is U.S. Patent No. 6,529,908 titled “Web-Updated Database with Record Distribution by Email.”
